Pa.II, B.A.Y.O, DJ Lakeside
Pa.II is a Nigerian born singer/songwriter based in Ontario. His sound is a blend of genres (R&B, dancehall, hip-hop and primarily Afrobeats) making for a versatile artist. He has released a series of projects known as the ILLAH SERIES, a play on his last name Pillah and in reference to the music being sicker than the rest- (ILLER). Each project explored a different side of his expansive creative flair and musical style. Pa.II started out at The Remix Project, where he amassed knowledge of his craft and since produced records raved about throughout Ontario. He has worked with artists such as Dolothegifted, DJ Damiger, Lady Donli, B.O.S, Aj Styles, B.A.Y.O and many others. Pa.II’s new project ILLAH U was released November 2023 and has already enjoyed play on CBC’S Radio One, CKCU FM and Exclaim!’s “EH” List. He has also performed at many shows in Northern Ontario including Northern Lights Festival Boreal, Afrofest Sudbury, River & Sky and Up Here Festival. Pa.II is accompanied by his band, The Nyama Nyama Sound.
DJ Lakeside
Olalekan Solomon Komolafe, popularly known as DJ Lakeside, is a dynamic and versatile Disc Jockey and Music Curator with years of experience. DJ Lakeside has made a name for himself by delivering exceptional performances across various musical genres. His repertoire includes Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hiplife, Dancehall, Zouk, Coupe Decale, Bongo Flava, GQOM, Reggae, Makossa, Ndombolo, Rumba, Soukous, Afro-Congo, Zouglou, Reggaeton, Moombahton, Caribbean Soca, Kompa/Kompa Gouyad, Jack Swing, Disco/Funk, Hip-hop, R&B, EDM, and many more. With a profound understanding of DJ equipment, including DJ Controllers and computer software, DJ Lakeside excels at beat matching, remixing, music transitioning, and creating unique mashups. He is a master of synchronizing tracks, creating playlists, and crafting mixtapes that cater to diverse audiences.
